The antiarrhythmic effect of Dronedarone may be due to at least two major actions. Via inhibition of calcium channels and blockage of beta1-adrenergic receptors, a decrease in AV conduction and sinus node function can be observed. Dronedarone can also cause an increase in blood pressure by inhibition of alpha1-adrenergic receptors.

Polycap is a prodrug metabolised in the liver to form the active ?-hydroxyacid derivative. It reduces total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides and increases HDL-cholesterol levels.

Pause belongs to a class of medication called as antifibrinolytic. It prevents bleeding during heavy menstruation, surgery or clotting disorders by not allowing the blood clots formed in your body to break down.
